McCafe your day!

Yes! I took a picutre of my moring coffee LOL.....I am such a coffee drinker. I love everything about coffee. The tast, the warmness and just how it comforts me every morning. Are you a coffee drinker like me?
What kids of cofffee drinks do you like? My favorite use to be starbucks...at a moment starbucks was everywhere...even young teens were drinking the frapps. I think they are a lil too expensive and the quality has gotten a lil worse for me. Ever since Mcdonalds came out with there coffees I have been addicted. I love there non-fat carmel latte....oooh yummy! I can't start my day without coffee whether is be at home or bought.

My World

These two are my entire world. I just had to post my two most recent photo's that I absolutely adore. On the top is my Daughter Mya Gabriella and on the left is my nephew Jayden Rene...aren't they adorable! I'm such a proud mother and Aunt.

It's incredible how you can love so instant and pure. There is not a day that these two lil ones make me laugh and smile. I am so blessed to have them in my life. If you are a parent or have a niece or nephew you know what I am talking about.

Cherish everyday you have with them because they grow up so fast. I can't believe my Mya is 5 years old. to me it was just this yesterday that I was feeding her milk and changing her diapers. She has grown to be such a lil diva LOL I love that about her. My Jayden is 10 months and I can't wait to see the lil man he is going to be. Life is good.

Cherish everyday... Love every moment...and smile endlessly.....for you are blessed more then you know.

Love,
Jessica

A Starry Night.........

I am posting my sunday blog a little early. This is my rendition of Vincent Van Gogh Starry Night. The original painting of Van Goghs has always been a favorite of mine and I was determined to take a picture of what I thought would be a real starry night. I took this from my view at work...ya I know what a view. The colors were perfect!
I hope everyone has a blessed weekend and a great Sunday. For me Sundays are about spending time with my sisters and grandparents. It's really a traditon we have had for years. We hangout at the mall or either one of our places. Its nice to get together.
Tell me what you think of my rendition and what sundays mean to you?

A Mother's hands

Do we ever stop to think of the infinite loving acts of kindness that our mothers have bestowed upon us?

Her Hands-© Maggie Pittman

Her hands held me gently from the day I took my first breath.
Her hands helped to guide me as I took my first step.
Her hands held me close when the tears would start to fall.
Her hands were quick to show me that she would take care of it all.
Her hands were there to brush my hair, or straighten a wayward bow.
Her hands were often there to comfort the hurts that didn't always show.
Her hands helped hold the stars in place, and encouraged me to reach.
Her hands would clap and cheer and praise when I captured them at length.
Her hands would also push me, though not down or in harms way.
Her hands would punctuate the words, just do what I say.
Her hands sometimes had to discipline, to help bend this young tree.
Her hands would shape and mold me into all she knew I could be.
Her hands are now twisting with age and years of work,Her hand now needs my gentle touch to rub away the hurt.
Her hands are more beautiful than anything can be.
Her hands are the reason I am me.

We should thank our mothers each and everyday for what they have given us. The pictures I took was of my hands and my daughters. Cherish every moment!

Jessica

Continue...What is beauty to you?

Continue.....of What is beauty to you? This is a picture of my cousin. She is a middle school student. The left picture perfectly suits a middle school student, but the right picture can totally pass for an older teenager in high school or even college. Teens and young kids now a days are obsessed with makeup. I for one is obsessed with makeup I love the glamour and especially how it makes me feel. When I have makeup on I feel beautiful. I don't see anything wrong with young teens wearing makeup, but its how much makeup that sends the wrong message. Kids should be kids and not grow up to fast in my opinion. I love these two pictures, but the right one doesn't suit her age. Being glamours at age young as comes with a price. And that price is not always good.

What do you think about underage kids wearing too much make-up? Do you approve?

This is one captivating picture!

Isn't this portrait captivating. My favorite thing about this pictures is how the light from the left created a shadow. This is my favorite picture I took of my friend Joann. Her beauty is stunning!

Continue....What is Beauty to you?

Here is another set of What is beauty to you? My beautiful friend was kind enough to let me photograph her. I personally think both of these photo's are absolutly gorgeous. Not only does she photograph well, but her inner beauty is what shines.

On the left is an all natural picture and on the right is the dolled up version.

What is beauty to you?

Good Morning!!!!

Last year I wanted to do a project on beauty. Everyone has there own opinion about beauty. Some people may say inner beauty is what counts and others might say the outside is what is important. Either way everyone has there own opinion. I want to know yours????

This project was to define simple beauty with commerical beauty. Were not necessarily talking about the individual person in the picture ( My beautiful cousin Francesca), but what beauty really is...simplicity or made up. On the left is a all natural picture with absolutely no makeup and on the right is a dolled up version. Personally I find them both beautiful, but the left one stands out more to me. It shows innocence and a beauty that is effortless. So let me know what you think? comment below. I will be posting a few more of these.

I leave you with this.......That which is striking and beautiful is not always good, but that which is good is always beautiful.
